Victory Ventures unterzeichnet Absichtserklärung zum Erwerb einer Option auf die Copau-Claims in British Columbia
(ddp direct) Die Claims sind teilweise von Claims der Imperial Metals Corporation umgeben, die etwa 11 Kilometer südlich die Red Chris-Kupferlagerstätte erschließt.
Die Claims befinden sich östlich von Iskut (British Colombia) und werden von einer Schotterstraße durchkreuzt, die östlich in Richtung der alten BC-Bahnlinie verläuft. Das B31-Vorkommen in den Claims befindet sich ungefähr 2 Kilometer nordöstlich des Ealue Lake und ca. 14 Kilometer ostsüdöstlich des Dorfes Iskut. Die Zugangsstraße ist für Fahrzeuge mit Zweiradantrieb geeignet.
Die Claims wurden bereits in der Vergangenheit erkundet. Die Kartierung im Rahmen des BC Geological Survey im Jahr 1994 führte zur Entdeckung des B31-Kupfervorkommens, in dem Magnetit, Kupferpyrit und geringere Mengen von Pyrit in der Nähe von Störungen und kataklastischen Mikrostrukturen in einem kleinen Syenitstock auftreten. Eine vom Optionsgewährer durchgeführte Magnetometer-Vermessung zeigte eine signifikante magnetische Anomalie, die von ihrem Auftreten in Richtung Nordwest verläuft. Im Rahmen der Absichtserklärung muss das Unternehmen vorbehaltlich der Zustimmung durch die TSX Venture Exchange Barmittel von insgesamt 170.000 Dollar bezahlen, 600.000 Aktien ausgeben und in den kommenden 5 Jahren insgesamt 600.000 Dollar für die Claims ausgeben, um eine 100%-ige Beteiligung zu erwerben, die einer NSR-Abgabe von 2% an den Optionsgewährer unterliegt.
